- Green, by Steve Hillage. The metaphysical hippie himself, doing his amazing guitar stuff in the dream world.
- Any CD/Album by Gong.
- Screamadelica, Primal Scream. Heavenly psychedelic riffs.
- You Are What You Is, Frank Zappa, for laughs.
- Avalon, Roxy Music, for sleep.

Bush seems to have a very short term view. The long term consequences of antagonising major trade blocks like Europe will only do harm to all world trade, but the US will come off by far the worse.
Bush may think that he can ride on the back of undoubted sympathy for 9-11, but it won’t wash. Europe may well start a trade war with the US.
Short term - US steel jobs will be saved, but US consumers will be forced to pay artificially high prices for steel and any other products that any trade war might include.
Long term – the US will lose major export markets which they will find very difficult to win back once Bush has had his day and has joined ex Pres Ray-Gun on the happy farm with Lassie growing potatoes in the delightful town of Wales – now which state was that in again?

i have just read via the freeminds site, that the case in france has been lost and watchtower must pay a total of 45 million euros or $39 million!

since the underlying assumption of the apostasy is that we are not living in the last days of this system of things, and that this world is not facing anything remotely like the biblical apocalypse, at least not any time soon, in the spirit of such antagonism, i would like to propose a similar wager.

Abaddon said that good friendships can be built on disappointments. That really can be true.
When I was about 19 my then best friend let me down seriously by stealing all my grant money whilst at university. I agonised over this, as well as ending up stealing food. Fortunately I didn't get caught. It took over 2 years to get over this and to fully understand and sympathise with why he did this to me of all people. We are now, 15 years later, rock solid best friends who enjoy each others personalities greatly, especially with our similarly bizzare sense of humour. Recently, I needed some help after leaving the Borg affected my business (my partner & staff were Witnesses) and guess who offered all his savings to help me? Yep, you guessed it.
